Hot coffee, sweet whiskey and cold cream, sipped through the cream. A dessert and a nightcap in one glass. This drink contains alcohol and is for adults only.
Ingredients
- 200 ml hot strong coffee
- 40 ml Irish whiskey
- 2 tsp soft brown sugar
- 50 ml double cream, lightly whipped so it still pours
Method
- Warm a heatproof glass with hot water, then pour the water away.
- Add the sugar and hot coffee and stir until the sugar has dissolved.
- Stir in the whiskey.
- Pour the cream slowly over the back of a spoon so it floats on top.
- Do not stir. Drink the coffee through the layer of cream.
